Take your Best Shot Outreach Party for Pens of Hope Davao

The alumni and existing volunteers of Social Involvement Coordinating Office (SICO), the social arm of Ateneo de Davao University has drawn the inspiration of Filipino custom of Bayanihan to pursue the goal of Pens of Hope here in Davao. This campaign successfully started was originally conceptualized by Nortehanon, a blogger from Northern Samar.

We (with Kevin, Mark and Rock Jhunn) pitched in to support the various needs of the Pens of Hope and Beyond Art Sake. We pledged to show support for the campaign through amount raised from art works and blog about it.

One of the activities included during the run of the program was the Outreach Party of the “Take your Best Shot” conducted by 13th Witch Digital Studio with Maspinaka Gwapong Tao-Daut and Kenjie Takezawa last night , July 17, 2010.

Guests invited to bring food, pens and art works for donations.

The Party was held at Ms. Leah’s residence at Pujada Drive, Vincent Heights, Davao City  where Pica pica, raffle contest, and band show were held.. Generous sponsors, partners poured in pledging their supports. It was fun for a cause!

1. Send pens, pencils and other writing materials (other school supplies are also welcome) to any of the Pens of Hope collection centers.
